=Everybody like animation. For both adults and children's minds, animated films are the best dessert. India, like Hollywood, offers a plethora of amusing and enjoyable animated films. In Indian animations, 2D and 3D techniques are almost certainly used. "The Banyan Deer (1957)" was the first animated short film in India. "Ek Anek Aur Ekta," a 1974 film, was another. Between 1957 and 2020, the Indian animation industry has seen many technological advancements. The top ten Indian animated films are listed below.

1. Goopi Gawaiya Bagha Bajaiya (2013)
Shilpa Ranade is the film's director. It is based on the film "Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne (1969)" by internationally recognized director Satyajit Ray. It is simply one of the best animated classic Indian films ever made. It tells the story of two musicians and their amazing trip. Four national and international honours were given to the film. In 2013, it premiered in Toronto, and in 2014, it was distributed in India.


2. Delhi Safari (2012)
Nikhil Advani's feature film is a 3D animated bilingual comedy picture. It was first released in June 2012 in Annecy, then in October 2012 in India. It tells the narrative of five animals and birds who are travelling to Delhi. Urmila Matondkar, Boman Irani, and Akshay Khanna feature in the film. Four national honours were given to the film. It's a light-hearted and enjoyable film.


3. Arjun: The Warrior Prince (2012)
Arnab Chaudhari directed this two-dimensional animated film. UTV Motion Pictures and Walt Disney Pictures are collaborating to make the film. Arjun, the third Pandava, is the protagonist of the film. The film depicts Arjuna's entire life, including all of his events, activities, and experiences. In 2013, it was awarded the 'FICCI BAF Award' for the best Indian Animation Feature Film.

4. Char Sahibzaade (2014)
Harry Baweja has directed this Punjabi 3D computer animation play. It is based on the sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh's sons, the Sikhs' tenth Guru. Sahibzada Ajit Singh (Harman Baweja), Fateh Singh, Zorawar Singh, and Jujhar Singh are the central characters in the film. Om Puri is responsible for the film's narration. It does a fantastic job of handling historical values and emotions. In addition to Hindi and English, it has been released.

5. Kochadiyaan (2014)
It's a historical novel set in Tamil. This can be considered one of the best Indian animated movies, directed by Soundarya R. Ashwin and written by K.S.Ravikumar. The Hindi narrative is performed by Amitabh Bachchan, while Rajnikanth handles the Tamil narration. Shobhana is played brilliantly by Deepika Padukone. A.R.Rahman's music is relaxing to listen to. The film became one of India's first photorealistic motion pictures, in which the characters resembled the performers who played them. At the international box office, it was the most successful animated film ever.

6. Roadside Romeo (2008)
The new era of Indian 3D animation began with this film. Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films collaborated on the project. Jugal Hansraj wrote and directed the film. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan played the lead roles in the film. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures released it in the UK and US. Although the film was not particularly well-reviewed, it did win the National Film Award for Best Animation.

7. Hanuman (2005)
It isn't exaggerating to suggest that this film marked the beginning of Indian animation. It is the first 2D animated film with a full length. It tells the tale of Hindu God Hanuman's life. V.G.Samant directed the film, which was co-produced by Percept Pictures and Silvertoons. Kakarakaya Pulsu wrote the script. Mukesh Khanna narrated the film. With an estimated box office gross of $8.18 million, the film was a success.

8. Ramayana: The Epic (2010)
It was the first time the epic had been depicted in animated form. Chetan Desai of Maya Digital Media directed the video. Warner Bros. financed and released the film in India, where it grossed $1.45 million.

9. Bal Ganesha (2010)
2D and 3D animation sketches were used to create the movie. It depicts God Ganesha's childhood adventures. It's a bright, melodic, action-packed film. This film is extremely popular with children. Pankaj Sharma was the director. Shemaroo Entertainment was the studio behind the film.

10. Mahabharata (2013)
Aman Khan helmed the film's production. The epic Mahabharata is depicted in this painting. Ajay Devgn, Vidhya Balan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Deepti Naval, and a slew of other actors star in the film. It was India's most costly animated film. It, too, had actors portraying well-known figures. The film, however, was a box office disappointment, grossing barely 1.5 crores.
